⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible stay at David’s place in Alfred Station. We stayed for a few days starting April 13th, and the weather was beautiful and sunny—perfect for enjoying the stunning 20-acre property. The cottage is peaceful, private, and very well maintained. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with great amenities. There are plenty of spots to relax, enjoy the views, and unwind. David is a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and very welcoming. You can tell he truly cares about his guests. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway in a beautiful location, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

The Farm Stay was an amazing place—so beautiful and peaceful. While the listing description was accurate, the actual experience of staying in the home and exploring its surroundings was truly indescribable! The house was stocked with top-tier supplies, and the decor and furniture were both comfortable and high quality. My family and I will definitely be returning to this property the next time we visit Alfred.

Sometimes when looking at photos online you think maybe this isnt going to live up to what they are showing. In this case the pictures didnt compare to how amazing the property is. Clean, secluded, peaceful and wonderful spot to get away from it all. The property was clean and well set up for us to check in and even left us some treats like fresh farm eggs, real maple syrup, maple candy and oatmeal and popcorn. Will definitely stay here again when I need to get away

Our family had a lovely stay at David’s place. The property was exactly as described and met the needs of my family with teenagers. We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing setting, with deer outside our windows in the mornings. We would love to return again!

This beautiful timber frame house was a dream to stay in. It is pristinely clean, with comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. The views are gorgeous with stunning windows that allow so much natural sun and moon light into the house. Plenty of space to comfortably fit our family of 5 plus a friend and still have empty beds. The well stocked bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries making travel easy. We always appreciate extra cozy blankets around for settling into the evening or watching the sun rise over the hills and they were everywhere we needed them. We didn’t get to try out the fire pit as it was quite cold during our stay but it is on the list for the next visit as the star gazing was breath taking. And our final morning we enjoyed watching a herd of deer in the field while having our morning tea and coffee. The added touch of hospitality goodies were thoughtful as well tasty!

Incredibly beautiful place to stay. The house and property are situated in such a picturesque setting, the timber framed structure is enough to feast your eyes on, and the bounty of windows frame stunning views in every direction. On top of that, the house is immaculately clean, and the kitchen is organized and even labeled with just about everything you need to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The details of the house are really over the top and feel warm and inviting but equally professional in total consideration of the needs of a traveler and their company. The host over delivers on value and is clearly meticulous in decisions that make a great place to stay even better. I will absolutely be staying here again.

This is such a great place to stay! The house is amazing with the extra tall ceiling provided by the timber framing. The huge, beautiful yard is teeming with birds and deer with a wonderful view of the surrounding hillsides. At night coyotes howling can be heard through the valleys. Perfect location to explore local culture and history, drive through Amish country and stop by a local farm stand. Or just kick back by the fire and enjoy tye view.

Had a great stay at this Farmhouse in Alfred. The host made everything easy with clear arrival and checkout instructions. Inside, the home is very thoughtfully put together. The furnishings have a warm feel, and the style carries consistently throughout the space. There are also a lot of nice personal touches like a welcome note with goodies and a curated record collection. The layout works really well and would be ideal for a large family or even two families traveling together. Everything was very clean. Bathrooms had plenty of towels / bathroom niceties and the kitchen is well stock with everything you need. We loved the natural light from the many windows and spent a lot of time relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. The house is very private on a large property. It was spring break when we visited and some restaurants were closed, but we had no trouble finding places within a 10-15 min drive. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable stay. We’d happily come back.
